Elaborated in our own drying shed. La panceta is a meat product that includes the skin and the layers underneath the pig skin. It is made of the skin and tocino (fat).
ORIGIN: Drying shed property of Jamones Juan Gargallo, Albentosa (Teruel). INGREDIENTS: Pork bacon (panceta), salt, sugar, white pepper, spices, antioxidants and preservatives. CURING PROCESS: 40 days.
In some european countries, bacon is considered as a breakfast meal together with eggs or also added to stews. Likewise, it is a common ingredient used in traditional recipes such as pizza, spaghetti or baked rice, among others. Pacenta is also appreciate it when barbecuing, together with cold meat or having a snack in the afternoon.
Best before 6 months. Store in a cool, dry and ventilated place.
