Majorcan sausage. Approx. 750 gr. Hanmade sobrasada from black pork. This sobrasada, property of Embotits Sa Caldera SL. since 1980, was the first one elaborated from black porks (a native breed from Majorca, which back then was in danger of extinction). Its high quality made it to be awarded with the Spanish National Award of “Gastronomy and Oenology” in 1986 and with the medal for the “Promotion of Tourism in Majorca” in 1988.
ORIGIN: Sant Joan (Majorca). INGREDIENTS: 92% pork (pork fat with antioxidant E-320 and E-321) and pork lean, paprika, salt, spices, dextrose, stabilizers, antioxidants and preservatives. It might contain traces of milk derivates. Gluten free. CURING PROCESS: Minimum 60 days stuffed into pork casings.
Ideal to eat raw, spread on toasts or as an ingredient in many dishes.
Store in a cool, dry place.
